C'est l'ouvrage le plus clair et le plus complet consult ce sujet ; il accompagne de faon essentielle la petite merveille que constitue " QFT fir the gifted amateur" , lequel pourrait tre autosuffisant mais ne l'est cependant pas malgr le gnie des auteurs pour dvelopper de faon plaisante une thorie difficile ; le livre de M Schwartz comble de faon magistrale une grande lacune et doit tre le livre de chevet de tout tudiant en physique thorique ; il est aussi indispensable tout mathmaticien intress par les dveloppements rcents de la physique contemporaineLe seul regret est l'impossiblit de poser des questions directement l'auteur ;D'autres ouvrages sur le sujet existent mais aucun n'atteint ce degr de clart dans l'exposition y compris ceux de S Weinberg
